Dr. Christine Schliesser
PD Dr. Christine Schliesser is a Senior Lecturer for Systematic Theology and Ethics at Zurich University, Switzerland, and Director of Studies at the Center for Faith & Society at Fribourg University, Switzerland. She is a Research Fellow in Studies in Historical Trauma and Transformation at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
She is interested in the role of religion in the public spheres, particularly in sustainable development, peace and reconciliation studies. Christine is the initiator and co-editor of the interreligious, interdisciplinary book series “Religion Matters. On the Significance of Religion in Global Issues“ (Routledge). Her recent publications include On the Significance of Religion for the SDGs. An Introduction (Routledge 2023). Available via open access.
