Grove Harris
Grove Harris is an eco-justice and religious diversity educator and advocate who brings diverse grassroots perspectives to an international agenda. She currently serves as Director of Global Advocacy and Representative to the United Nations for the Temple of Understanding, one of the oldest interfaith organizations. She has developed justice initiatives on food sovereignty, the human right to water, and women's initiatives in the context of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
She regularly speaks at conferences such as the Parliament of the World's Religions, civil society events related to the United Nations, and at her local Town Council public meetings.
Grove was Consulting Producer for the short film Roots of Change: Women, Food Sovereignty, and Eco-Justice (2016). Her past positions include Program Director for the 2009 Parliament of the World's Religions and Managing Director for the Pluralism Project at Harvard University. Her Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School (1996) incorporated studies of organizational development and business management into the study of religion and ethics.
She is also an artist working in paint, photography and fabric expressing gratitude and awe towards nature while exploring healing on multiple levels. Composting is a core practical and spiritual practice for her.
